Grey Arrow Right Welcome!

Thank you for visiting with us.

We are excited about our charitable projects, and you will be too as you learn more about us and what we are accomplishing.

Our programs are funded by individual gift donations, both large and small, corporate support and sponsorships, and special fund raising events.

Horse Charities is able to pay for its overhead costs through merchandising and grants.

So take grab hold of those reins, and join us on the trail to improving the living and working lives of America’s horses.

Haven for Horses Accreditation Program

Fund for Horses Charities announces its Haven for Horses Accreditation Program.

To be eligible to receive funding by Horse Charities, an organization must first of all become a qualifying horse welfare organization with us. Horse welfare organizations qualify by accreditation through our Haven for Horses Program (HHAP). Horse welfare organizations that can apply for accreditation have the following missions:

  • to rescue
  • give shelter or sanctuary
  • rehabilitate
  • retrain
  • place in kind, safe adoptive homes
  • find meaningful and appropriate second careers
  • provide equine therapy

Applying organizations must also:

  • already be a federally or state recognized 501(c)(3) non profit organization
  • or

  • filed application for this category of non profit tax exempt status

Applying organizations not having one of the above cannot be considered.
